Reservation Policies:
The published rates are valid on the day of your quote or in case of requesting a quote directly with one of our advisors, a deadline is established to make the given price valid. If a later request is made there may be variation.
When booking on our website, the confirmation receipt will be sent to you after payment has been made, until that moment it is considered a complete reservation. You can book with full payment or half (50%) as you wish. If half payment is made, the balance must be paid in cash upon boarding on the day of the tour.
Reservations for services are subject to availability at the time of processing your request and cannot be guaranteed until partial (50%) or full payment has been received.
After booking and confirming payment, we ask you to keep the corresponding receipt (digital or printed) and present it at the time of payment.
We suggest you read the cancellation policies since any reservation change is subject to availability and re-quote of rates, remember to have your reservation receipt on hand and contact us at (+52) 999 204 5234.
Prices are per person and include the services indicated in the description.
Payment Methods

Efectivo (en nuestra oficina, depósitos en cajero BBVA, tiendas de autoservicio)
Transferencia bancaria (es importante solicitar los datos al (+52) 999 204 5234 ó (+52) 999 899 0868).
Tarjeta de débito o crédito (al reservar en nuestra página web o puedes solicitar un enlace a nuestros asesores)
Si realizas el pago con tarjeta a través de nuestros asesores, se te solicitarán datos personales (Identificación oficial, correo y número de celular) para poder elaborar un enlace de pago online a través del banco BBVA, esto con el fin de validar que la compra sea legítima y realizada por la persona dueña de la tarjeta.
Si realizas el pago en nuestra página web se omite pedir estos datos ya que la gestión del pago se hace directo con el proveedor que en este caso es Openpay (pasarela de pagos online).
Billing
If you require a tax invoice, you must request it at the following email: reservas.viajes.colibri@gmail.com or by WhatsApp at 999 04 5234, indicating as subject: "Invoice Request". It is important that you attach your updated tax certificate, reservation receipt, use of the CFDI, total paid and payment method. Payments made that are not from the month in which the invoice is requested will not be invoiced. Once the invoice is requested, it will be sent to you within a maximum of 3 business days.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be reported to the following cell phone number: (+52) 999 204 52 34. Don't forget to have your reservation receipt on hand.
In order to get a refund, it is necessary to cancel at least 5 days in advance (if payment was made by card, 5% of the total amount paid will be deducted). For the refund, the transfer data (password account, bank and name of the person) is requested or, if possible, the payment is cancelled within the same online payment platform, which will be done within a maximum of 48 hours.
If you cancel less than 5 days in advance, you will be given an open-date ticket for the contracted tour services, which you can schedule later, it is valid for 1 year for its use, and it can be transferable (subject to availability of current services and price updates). In these cases, a refund is no longer allowed in the future. Once you assign the new dates to your tours, changes or cancellations are no longer allowed. If you want to make a new change, you must pay $500 pesos per person for each contracted tour.
If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours in advance, refunds do not apply and the ticket is no longer reusable. If you do not take the tour and the payment that was made is complete, you will be refunded half of the total tour price (if the payment was made with a debit or credit card, 5% of the total payment made is deducted), if the payment made is half, the total advance payment is lost. If you want to reschedule the tour, an additional $500 per person will be charged in addition to the total cost of the tour indicated on your receipt. If you cancel the tour after boarding the van, no partial or total refund is applicable, nor can it be rescheduled.
In the packages offered, Viajes Colibrí reserves the right to modify the travel itinerary of the tours according to availability or the hotels planned only in case it is essential for a better organization of the same or if there are circumstances of force majeure that force it.
In shared services, the waiting time is a maximum of 10 minutes at each meeting point established in Mérida, we recommend arriving on time or a few minutes early since according to the order in which they arrive at the point will be how they board the van.
In case of arriving late to your meeting point you will have to contact us at (+52) 999 204 5234 to give you options: you can change the meeting point to the last on the list (in this case it would be the Fiesta Americana hotel), you can join the tour at the exit of the city (a last stop is made at a self-service store before leaving a road), you can arrive at the first visit point of the tour or you can cancel the tour (keep in mind that the aforementioned penalty applies to cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance). It is important to mention that the transfer services provided to take the tour are not the responsibility of Viajes Colibrí.
For tours, in case the minimum number of expected travelers does not show up, bad weather or for any justified reason, Viajes Colibrí will be forced to suspend any of the planned tours and grant them on another date or in case the passenger does not have another date to take the tour, the amount will be fully refunded. For these cases, we will contact you one day before the tour in order to provide you with information about the situation and the available options.
It is important to mention that the indications and times established by the group guide during the tour must be respected, since in case of not complying with the times we reserve the right to continue with the itinerary without the possibility of any type of refund.
Date Changes
Date changes must be reported to the following cell phone number: (+52) 999 204 52 34. Don't forget to have your reservation receipt on hand.
You have the right to change the date once based on the following conditions:
In order to change the date, it is necessary to request it more than 24 hours in advance (subject to availability depending on the proximity of the new requested date). Once the date change has been made, cancellations are no longer allowed.
If you do not have a set date to reschedule the tour, you will be given an open-date ticket for the contracted tour services, which can be scheduled later, is valid for 1 year for use, and may be transferable (subject to availability of current services and price updates). If the cost of the tour is higher, the difference between the current total and the total indicated on the receipt must be paid. It is important to mention that to guarantee availability, it is recommended to request new dates more than a week in advance.
If the change is requested less than 24 hours in advance, a penalty of $500 per person is charged to reschedule on another date or leave the receipt with an open date.
Prices
Viajes Colibrí keeps the database updated regarding prices and conditions of the services.
The photographs shown on the portal are representative and do not guarantee that upon arrival everything will be exactly the same as you see here since there are variable conditions such as the weather that are beyond our control.
The promotions applied to the purchase of several days of tours are valid when booking more than a week in advance, with 20% being the maximum discount applicable to the public price established in our catalog. The promotion cannot be combined with other discounts offered (such as discounts for groups, INAPAM or children).
Viajes Colibrí reserves the right to reject any client at any time. This applies to cases in which the person is considered not to be in a condition to carry out or continue the tour (if they have drunk too much alcohol, cause conflicts with other travelers or someone from the staff, do not comply with the instructions or times established by the assigned guide or any valid cause that implies some type of damage to third parties).
Any claim must be made in writing through our email: reservas.viajes.colibri@gmail.com or directly by WhatsApp to the numbers provided, and must be received no later than 7 days after the date of your trip. After that period of time the company will not receive any claims.
The included traveler insurance applies to any inconvenience that occurs on board the vehicles, we are not responsible for accidents that occur during the visit of the sites (any place other than on board the designated unit on the day of the tour). The guides are properly prepared to handle basic first aid situations if necessary. If you have any special health condition, it is important that you let us know so that we can guide you regarding the type of service we can provide you.
The price is the same even if you do not take the full tour, this is for cases in which the traveler decides to stay at the last point to visit and not return to Merida (a maximum of 1 suitcase per person is allowed on board), it is important that you let us know if you are carrying luggage or if you are not returning to the same meeting point of departure so that we can take it into account. If you carry additional luggage than allowed, a payment of $500 per extra suitcase must be considered.
